Highway Situated in the estuary of the river Tagliamento, Bibione stretches towards West and the beach looks towards South. It is the widest in the Mediterranean Basin. The medium width is from 250 to 400 metres and its sand is among the finest you can find. Bibione is divided into four big areas: dei Pini, of recent construction, developed eastwards; Spiaggia, the historical unit; del Sole, immersed in the green and Pineda, which arrives as far as the Lagoon. The Hinterland of Bibione is developing in an area rich of green and dedicated to the agricolture. Behind, a wide pine-wood and an area rich of water complete the natural surroundings of this town.
